1.  Why should I rent from your website?

We have very competitive rates from all the major car rental companies like Hertz, Budget, Avis, Thrifty and more than 50 other rental companies worldwide.  In addition, our no penalty cancellation policy and excellent customer service will go a long way toward making your rental with us a positive experience.

2.  Where do you get your car rental information?

The pricing and information presented to you on our website are obtained automatically from the car rental companies.  We have no control over this information.  If you need further details you should contact the car rental company directly ( see item 2, next ).

3. What charges are included in the car rental price?

Cheap car rental rates listed on our site DO NOT include taxes or insurance.
Company Policy Section: The car rental company policy section lists a wide range of information about each car rental, which sometimes includes insurance, taxes and fees, driving restrictions, additional charges, etc.  You should review this information before making your reservation.  If insurance is not listed you can call the company and inquire as often times there are too many choices to list on the website.
To see the car rental company policy section select your itinerary and click on “Book It”.  Then you will see the car rental policy section details for the rental you have chosen.  If the details you are looking for are not listed you will need to contact the car rental company directly.  Their number is often times listed at the end of the policy section details, otherwise use the yellow pages or call 800 assistance, 800.555.1212 in the U.S.
TIP: You may want to double check with your credit card company and/or your current car insurance provider before leaving home to see if they will cover some or all of the rental car insurance fees.

4. Will I be guaranteed a specific car model with my reservation?

Cheap car rental companies provide a model as an example of the type of car typically used for each class. Specific models are NOT guaranteed with reservations. Please be aware that car rental companies DO NOT provide a way to reserve a specific type of car model online.
TIP: When you arrive at the rental car agency, ask specific questions such as “What model compacts do you currently have available?” Many times agents will do their best to accommodate your request. You may also want to ask if an upgrade is possible. If available, you might receive a more comfortable vehicle. Often times, good things come to those who ask!

5. What about CANCELING a car reservation?

To cancel your reservation Click Here or click on the “My Account” tab at the top of this window.  Log into your account and once inside you may choose to cancel your reservation.

Cancellation Policy: We do not charge any fees for making a cancellation.  However, each car rental company has their own policy regarding cancellations so be sure to read the car rental company policy section referred to in item 3. above.

6.  How do I modify or change my car rental reservation?

The easiest way is to make a new reservation.  Once you have done this and the reservation is confirmed, then cancel your original reservation by following the instructions in item 3 above.

7. What is the minimum requirement for making a rental?

Age: As a general rule of thumb cheap car rental companies require you to be at least 25 years of age.  However, some companies will rent to age 21 or for a small fee.  Check the car rental company policy section referenced in item 3 above.
Drivers License: Many countries allow travelers to operate a rental vehicle with a valid driver’s license from their country of origin. Check the requirements of the country you’re traveling to before you leave. Travelers who frequently travel overseas should consider applying for an International Driver’s License. It is also best to check with the rental company directly to see if they require an International Driver’s License.
Credit Card:  You must have a valid credit card from a major company like Visa, MasterCard, American Express or others to make an online reservation.

8.  After I made my reservation the price changed.  Why?

The prices we show you are automatically provided to us from the car rental company booking system.  When you actually confirm your reservation, the car rental company system verifies that a car is available for the price shown, and if not, their system will book your reservation at the next lowest price.  If you do not wish to rent at this price, you may cancel your reservation by following the instructions in item 5 above.  While we do not necessarily agree that the system should work this way we are bound by the car rental company systems.

9.  Can I rent a car in one location and drop off at another?
